William Slowik has worked in museums and galleries assisting with installation of art exhibits from 1986 to 2001. He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.F.A. in Sculpture and Art Education in 1992. He attended The Milton Avery Graduate School of The Arts at Bard College from 1992-1994 and completed his M.F.A. in sculpture. From 1992 to 2005 William has worked as both a Museum Educator and an Art Teacher in upstate N.Y. and in Wilmington, Delaware. He is currently the Director of Education at The Creative Vision Factory and is the acting Director of Creative Vision Works, which employs members of the factory for public placemaking initiative’s.
William began exhibiting his artwork in 2013. He had solo exhibits at The Creative Vision Factory and the The Chris White Gallery. He has been included in Wilmington area group exhibits with NWAA.
