Shipley Loft Resident and Local Delawarean Spoken Word and Hip-Hop Artist “Anthem” is debuting his latest album, “Tale of Two Cities”.
Tale of Two Cities is a concept rap album detailing his personal experiences of childhood trauma, coming of age stories and newfound hope; growing into maturity and adulthood from youthful innocence. Themes of the project include inherited and learned behavior, goodness vs necessary evil, and overarching purpose in uncertainty; accompanied by a variety of hip-hop sounds, profound lyricism and instrumentation.
The event will showcase a number of songs from the project, with performances accompanied by Anthem and other vocalists supporting the project. The price of entry is $10 at the door. We will also have raffles and giveaway prizes for those in attendance.
