Show title: The Art of Becoming
Artist name: Marie Carmel
Show description: The Art of Becoming explores fluidity, emotion, and the continuous process of personal transformation through a combination of abstract art and abstract portraiture. Flowing forms, layered textures, expressive movement, and facial expressions reveal how emotions shift, evolve, and shape who we become. Each piece captures a moment within that journey, inviting viewers to connect with their own experiences of healing, self discovery, change, and growth.

Working across ink, acrylic, oil, digital and mixed media, she creates expressive work centered on emotion, identity, fluidity, and transformation. Her work invites viewers to connect with experiences that are often deeply felt but not easily put into words. Alongside her artistic practice, Carmel is developing a creative app designed to connect artists and curators with resources, opportunities, and one another.
