This is the third of 15 fundraising posts for our gallery in the summer of 2024.
Today we feature artist Eric van der Vlugt.
Eric was one of seven artists featured in our 2023 exhibit “Group Configuration”, curated by Rebecca Howell. Those artists have been sketching together for decades! A teacher of art, he is particularly enchanted by narrative and storyline. Click here to see his website.
Why does Eric encourage you to donate?
I encourage you to donate and to support this unique art space in whatever way you can. At a time when galleries are shuttering and visual artists are forced online, Chris White Gallery offers both artists and the public an opportunity to interact and to appreciate creative work in person, as intended.”

Our Goal = $8,400.
$8,400 is how much the gallery will spend in the coming year to mount six art exhibitions in downtown Wilmington, Delaware. Your donation will cover the cost of professional installation, exhibit lettering, take-away cards, event insurance, and publicity with enough left over to give small stipends to curators and exhibit coordinators. Our expenses are low because volunteers do most of the work and the Shipley Lofts apartment building covers our rent and utilities. As a result, Wilmington’s diverse and talented artists have a handsome brightly-lit place to put their work on display. Your donation is all we need to make it happen.
