It’s no secret that toxicity has become ever present in our politics and online social media circles.
Whether this is an accurate reflection of our society as a whole or is being exacerbated and distorted through the monetization of rage/outrage, one thing is clear: our society is at a crossroads. It is becoming evident that we must make an individual and collective choice of going down one of two paths: either unity and growth or hatred and fear.
The time for a shift is now.
“For All My Dogs” is a show that strives to showcase the masculine side of society through the depiction of the highest potential for good. In doing so we attempt to steer the shift in this crucial time, even if in subtle ways.
Society is currently in an identity crisis, and by extension a masculine identity crisis.
For example, a lack of positive male role models contributes to this crisis and makes more and more men susceptible to the ensnaring jaws of addiction, hate, violence, fear, xenophobia, narcissism, and even online rabbit holes. With this exhibition we hope to show that the propensity of men to lead by fostering creative community is alive and well, and that the most valuable form of currency is love and realness. Men reunited in experiencing brotherhood: all men are brothers.
We want to start the conversation and ask what it means to be an American, a human, a man.
As a man, when you are at your most vulnerable, or when your ego is bruised, how do you respond in that moment? In society, how do we know we have become a man besides receiving a government-issued ID card?
As humans, despite all the harshness and chaos of reality, are we still able to have fun, laugh at ourselves, and not take life too seriously?
Moving forward, we must not lose the script but instead provide a vision for the future of what unifies us all as humans and helps us evolve into our greatest collective potential.

Panel Discussion:
On Instagram, ColorOfLife wrote: “Being part of the panel for the “FOR ALL MY DOGS” closing exhibition was honestly a moment I won’t forget. Sitting in that space, surrounded by DOPE artists, community, and real conversation, felt powerful. We got into masculinity in a way that was open, honest, and layered. No posturing. Just lived experience, different perspectives, and respect across the room. That kind of dialogue is necessary, especially when art is the entry point. Big respect and gratitude to Andy @fatfingers for curating the show and trusting us with the space to share our disciplines. Also much love to @michaelofthele & @gdashjones for moderating the panel.”
