A Community Creation Night Summer Nights Open Mic Showcase is a community-centered arts experience that brings together poets, musicians, visual artists, storytellers, and creative minds for an evening of connection, expression, and inspiration.
Hosted by award-winning author, poet, and community advocate Kira Savvy, this event creates a welcoming space where creativity and culture meet. Guests can enjoy live performances, visual art exhibitions, meaningful conversation, and opportunities to support local artists while building community through the arts.
Whether you are an artist, supporter, or simply looking for an uplifting night out, A Community Creation Night invites you to create, connect, and be inspired.
5:30 PM – Doors Open Guests arrive, check in, explore the gallery, view the featured artwork, and connect with fellow community members.
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Welcome & Visual Artist Showcase
Kick off the evening with opening remarks, an introduction to A Community Creation Night, and an opportunity to experience the featured visual artists and their work.
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Poetry Performances
Enjoy an inspiring hour of spoken word and poetry from featured poets sharing original works and creative expression.
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Musical Performances
Experience live music from featured musicians as they close out the evening with engaging performances.
9:00 PM – 9:30 PM | Closing Remarks
Celebrate the night’s success with final acknowledgments, gratitude to the artists, sponsors, volunteers, and guests, and a look ahead to future Community Creation Nights.
