This is the second of 15 fundraising posts for our gallery in the summer of 2024
Today we feature artist Nanci Hersh.
Nanci Hersh’s artwork has appeared in group shows at the Chris White Gallery and, in 2023, she curated a group show of her own, Chapel of Tears, which featured 25 artists from United Kingdom, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Germany and throughout the United States. Click here to visit her website.
Why does Nanci encourage you to donate?
Chris White Gallery is the perfect venue to showcase unique solo, group exhibitions and community art projects. Clean, contemporary, and accessible, we are truly fortunate to have the Chris White Gallery in WIlmington and it benefits all of us to support it in any way we can.”

Our Goal = $8,400.
$8,400 is how much the gallery will spend in the coming year to mount six art exhibitions in downtown Wilmington, Delaware. Your donation will cover the cost of professional installation, exhibit lettering, take-away cards, event insurance, and publicity with enough left over to give small stipends to curators and exhibit coordinators. Our expenses are low because volunteers do most of the work and the Shipley Lofts apartment building covers our rent and utilities. As a result, Wilmington’s diverse and talented artists have a handsome brightly-lit place to put their work on display. Your donation is all we need to make it happen.
