This is the 13th of 15 fundraising posts for our gallery in the summer of 2024.
Today we feature Regina Katz.
Most recently, Regina Katz’s art has appeared in “Extranjera/o — No soy de aqui y no soy de alla. (I’m not from here, I’m not from there.)”, the 2023 exhibit curated by Cony Madariaga featuring 22 Latin-X artists and creatives. She also had work in 2020’s “Plant Life in the City”, an exhibit curated by JaQuanne LeRoy. To see Regina’s art on Instagram, click here.
Why does Regina encourage you to support our non-profit?
The Chris White Gallery is a light in the city of Wilmington for artists and those who love art. With its innovative and diverse shows, it is a place of inspiration for many. Checks made out to “Chris White CDC” may be mailed to
Chris White CDC, 701 N. Shipley Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
Our Goal = $8,400.
$3,201.32 was donated as of July 26, 2024.
$8,400 is how much the gallery will spend in the coming year to mount six art exhibitions in downtown Wilmington, Delaware. Your donation will cover the cost of professional installation, exhibit lettering, take-away cards, event insurance, and publicity with enough left over to give small stipends to curators and exhibit coordinators. Our expenses are low because volunteers do most of the work and the Shipley Lofts apartment building covers our rent and utilities. As a result, Wilmington’s talented artists have a handsome brightly-lit place to put their work on display. Your donation is all we need to make it happen.
