This is the fourth of 15 fundraising posts for our gallery in the summer of 2024.
Today we feature artist Smashed Label.
Smashed Label is our gallery’s best-selling artist. His work was featured in 2020’s “Plant Life in the City” exhibit as well as our Tenth Anniversary exhibit. He had a solo show “Muse” in 2023. Click here to see that exhibit.
Why does Smashed Label encourage you to donate?
The Chris White Gallery allowed me to be a part of exhibitions and shows when other spaces didn’t. I’ve always appreciated their willingness to offer opportunities and display newcomers and less-known artists works.”

Our Goal = $8,400.
$8,400 is how much the gallery will spend in the coming year to mount six art exhibitions in downtown Wilmington, Delaware. Your donation will cover the cost of professional installation, exhibit lettering, take-away cards, event insurance, and publicity with enough left over to give small stipends to curators and exhibit coordinators. Our expenses are low because volunteers do most of the work and the Shipley Lofts apartment building covers our rent and utilities. As a result, Wilmington’s diverse and talented artists have a handsome brightly-lit place to put their work on display. Your donation is all we need to make it happen.
