We need volunteer hosts for events!
We have many artists asking for exhibits and special one-day events at the gallery of the Chris White Community Development Corporation (CWCDC). If you already enjoy being part of the arts community in Wilmington, Delaware — or want to be — you can make those events happen.
In addition to exhibit receptions, we need volunteer hosts for events such as poetry readings, artist talks, and intimate concerts. These cannot be scheduled until we have volunteers to host them.
The process of becoming a host is simple. As a new volunteer, you begin by assisting seasoned veterans. Once you learn the ropes, you can be the one tutoring the newbies. The time commitment is as little as two hours for each event, as little as once a month.
The Chris White Gallery is an active community nexus in downtown Wilmington, Delaware. That is only possible because we have volunteers to host events.
Click here to use the Contact Us post on this website. Let us know of your interest and we will answer your questions and invite you to assist at an upcoming event.

Andy is also a professional preparator and has been active preparing exhibits in our gallery and at the Delaware Art Museum for many years.
